How can an American company be close to its international customers? This is the question that the now grown up startup SurveyMonkey had to face. Their answer: initiating an independent Web 2.0 appearance for the important market in Germany.

In the USA the go-to online survey tool was able to grow organically over 10 years. In Germany the company didn’t want to take as much time and pushed the online presence right from the start and tailored it fort he specific needs of the German audience.

In the United States 99% of the Fortune 500 enterprises use the tool from Silicon Valley to conduct market research, employee surveys, customer support and satisfaction surveys and much more. Commandante supports SurveyMonkey in becoming equally successful in the German market.

Since the third quarter of 2013 Commandante is responsible for localization, conception and editorial work of the German blog as well as the social media strategy and online editing for various social networks, such as Facebook, Google+, Twitter and Xing. Together with our partner HOTDOT Commandante develops PR campaigns, which increase the brands visibility as well as interaction rates with its customers.

Within the scope of the cooperation Commandante successfully conceptualized a student competition, which gave students the chance to win an internship at SurveyMonkey in California. Besides communicating the campaign on all relevant social media channels, Commandante developed a competition website and various promo material.
